The way headhunters work has changed significantly in recent years. Digital work processes and communication via video conferences have been standard at the management consultancy HSC Personalmanagement for several years. Mr. Hesker can still remember the times when a personal meeting between the candidate and the headhunter seemed imperative. With the advent of digitization, addressing via telephone and a first conversation via Skype has become the headhunters’ usual work process.
Corona Virus and the Economy
Of course, the corona crisis also has an impact on management consultancy like HSC Personalmanagement. Many companies are reluctant to hire new staff in the current situation. For the headhunter this means, for example: How many candidates have been reached? How many CVs were analyzed? When can telco’s take place? etc. If it can be organized you should reduce the possibility of “distraction” as much as possible.
Corona crisis outlook
Of course, the Corona crisis will continue to accompany you for a long time, but the past shows that an upswing follows every crisis. Unfortunately, the “small” recruitment agencies may not survive this “dry spell”. The personnel consultants that have been on the market for a long time and look after a customer base that they have built up for years are nevertheless well equipped for this crisis. A large network of specialists in the top floors of companies in Germany is an important cornerstone for this.
